how i fell in love with my flaws

Hey guys and gals,

So I’ve been looking at social media lately (like most teenagers) and I’ve come to the realization that nowadays even with so much acceptance around, there is still an expectation on being flawless, perfect and fit in with the crowd.

Since I was younger I got told being skinny, having blonde hair and blue eyes would make me be popular, if I was born earlier maybe I would’ve but unfortunately I was born into a generation where being ‘thicc’, tan skin, brunette and having big boobs results in somewhat popularity.

Being popular is ever-changing, and being popular is the best until times change and evolves because once you aren’t considered ‘hot’ your tossed aside. I don’t know whats worse and more degrading, never being considered popular or being popular and being used.

Eventually, popularity will be about flaws and how unique someone is, this may not be in the near future, but if you are someone who loves their skin, body, mind and soul then no matter what changes you will forever consider yourself beautiful. So I’m going to tell you the same thing your parents, grandparents, friends all say and your probably going to roll your eyes when I say (type?) this, but, you are an inspiration, you are unique, one of a kind and most importantly beautiful. The flaws you have whether its your smile, hair, stretch marks, boobs or lack of, eyes, height, laugh and everything in between you still look amazing.

Okay, weird mushy post over but know that you don’t have to fit in but you don’t have to stand out either and if you just accept every aspect of yourself no bully or mean girl will ever make you feel like crap (or as much).

Cold Love: UPDATED

Hey guys and gals,

Winter is here, the perfect season for cuddling, hot chocolates, fireplaces, sitting at home binge watching TV shows (I’m obsessed with The Carrie Diaries right now) and nice comfy jumpers.  But what about the cold weather brings desire to be in a relationship?

All around social media there is the idea that summer season is “hoe season” well lets break that down…

Hoe =  1. A skank. 2. A woman who is too loose in the booty. 3. Woman or man who will fuck anything with two legs. 4. A promiscuous person

In the summer it’s hot, clothes are loose and short and apparently relationships are short too, the sound of commitment is uncalled for and overrated. Summer is meant to be filled of wild flings and letting your hair down. Where relationships don’t have a warm welcome.

On the other side of the spectrum there is winter, why does the sound of getting hot chocolates and sitting at home look so much better in the picture with a loved one? For me I go through a stage I’m oh so familiar with and that is the desperation for a relationship. A time I’m no longer happy to be single and worry if it’s too late for me to find a man. The problem is so many girls go through this the second they need a jumper on, which makes it that more difficult to find someone to date.

So I’m opening up to anyone reading this, do you have the desire to date more when you’re in winter or summer and why? Also let me know if you agree with this or if that the season doesn’t matter and that it’s all a coincidence. You can either email me at or head to my Instagram itsabigailmoulton and either direct message or comment on my recent post your answer.

Thank you to all the babes that replied xox

Some of you agreed and that its cold and you want to cuddle and that winter is the ideal time for intimacy.

Others said that I was crazy and that the desire to be in a relationship is a pure coincidence and that we shouldn’t dwell on it.

While some of you told me that you have the craving of a relationship every season, all year around. Some said that your answer made you feel like you’re a loser for wanting a relationship every time of the year. So to that person don’t even worry about it, everyone wants a relationship and when doesn’t matter.

first post ever?!

Hey guys and gals,

I’m officially writing my first ever blog for this site!!!

Right now I am freaking out and racking my brain at what I want this post to be about. While I have so many ideas, this post is going to be about leading up to creating this blog, why I did it and why I am so scared about posting this!

As Vanessa Hudgens apparently once said “I just love expanding my horizons and growing as an artist. The only way you get to do that is by doing something that scares you or takes you out of your comfort zones.” So I’m taking this advice and well I created this blog.

I was inspired by the handful of girls that have a blog or YouTube channel or Instagram page on girls advice and the many more considering creating one. A few days ago an Instagram page inspired me to try creating a blog/Instagram page.

I started this blog on a Sunday exactly two weeks from this being posted but it took me until Tuesday to write this post. I am the usual person to think ahead to this glorious future where I have heaps of readers and followers and my page is sorta known and has like 1 thousand followers, I’m going to try and not do that this time.

The scary thing is that only probably ten people are going to read this I know at least two of my friends will laugh about this behind my back and probably after a few weeks this will die down, because lets face it I have trouble committing to things. I’m even more nervous about the criticism like as much as I will need it to grow and create better more exciting blogs I feel that tomorrow at school, some guy I hardly know will address my blog and it will become a laughing-stock.

So I’m trying to say f*ck you to anxiety and just do it and hope for the best, thankyou to the support I have already received from friends and I hope this project turns out alright.

recipe for a yummy chocolate treat

Hey guys and gals,

So even though healthy eating is SUPER important, you have to treat yourself from time to time below is an amazing step by step recipe to a quick, easy and delicious lava cake!

 baking chocolate, 115g
unsalted butter, 2 teaspoons
white sugar, 2 tablespoons
large eggs, 2
all purpose flour, 2 tablespoons
salt, 1/8 teaspoon

  1. Preheat oven to 105°C, and grease two ramekins generously with butter. Put a small spoonful of sugar in each cup, coating the butter all around. Dump out any excess sugar. Place the greased cups on a baking sheet or oven safe dish.
  2. Put the chopped chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave it on high for 30 seconds, take it out and stir it repeat until completely melted.
  3. In a medium mixing bowl, mix butter and the sugar with an electric mixer or a rubber spatula until thoroughly combined, smooth, and paste-like.
  4. Add the two eggs to the mixture, and beat it with the electric mixer or a whisk until everything is combined. Add the flour and salt, and again beat everything with the mixer until it’s thoroughly mixed.
  5. Add about 1/3 of the melted chocolate to the mixture in the mixing bowl, then use a rubber spatula to gently fold it in. Add the rest of the chocolate mixture, and fold together then divide the batter evenly between the two greased custard cups. Bake the cakes until the tops are just set but the cakes still jiggle slightly when you shake them, about 11 minutes.
  6. Let the finished cakes sit in cups for five minutes when they’re finished baking. Then, flip each cup over on a dessert plate, and tap the bottoms of the cups so that the cakes fall out, decorate and serve immediately.

Transforming: Tasha

Hey guys and gals,

So for a while now I’ve been thinking about this super fun and cool project and it’s finally in action and before you start saying negative things let me explain.

One of my closest friends who means the world to me is like most girls and deals with confidence issues, bullying and has a hard life in general so I thought I would take it upon myself to help!

My mission: transform my friend Tasha * emotionally more than physically and try to love herself just a little more and hopefully be able to see what I see.

Our plan: List everything Tasha feels is ‘wrong’ with her and we will target each thing as we go, documenting as we go!

This series isn’t just about Tasha and her feeling confident but it’s about an introvert wanting to come out of her shell and with the hope of a somewhat extrovert maybe it will help.

I asked Tasha before we start the series what she wanted to achieve by the end of this, her response was “I don’t really know, I want to be confident and I want to feel good in my own skin. I don’t want to be scared to do what I want and be who I want to be I guess.”

So watch this space as every week/2 weeks there will be an update!
